Amo.ru: Local self-government
from times of Katherine the Great up to the present
 Empress Katherine the Great had reformed Russia, expanded its limits, forced all adjacent states to respect us and created basics of local self-government and sustainable development of the state so, that more than hundred years after her the country is developed under the will of the grandmother as her grandson Emperor Alexander has told.
Today her history and experience is more than simply useful for us. After disorder of the country and awful shocks we have come round and have started to collect the country anew. Construction of a new vertical of authority in the state has reached local self-government as a base element of overall system. The reform of local self-government system is the last and major stage of a reconstruction of new democratic statehood of Russia.
On this site we shall aspire to solve problems of development of local self-government, to discuss them and to search for answers to those sophisticated questions which are put before us with life.
